Sponge Method

2 1/2 cups unbleached bread flour
7 tablespoons raw sugar
12 tablespoons instant dry milk
2 teapoons active dry yeast
2 cups warm water

2 teaspoons sea salt
1 egg, beaten
1/3 cup oil
1 1/2 cups unbleached bread flour

breadcrumbs

Bake at a preheated oven at 350*F for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Will yield about 40 pieces pan de sal or more.
