Empanada Dough

Ingredients
3 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon raw sugar
3/4 cup cold slices of butter
1/2 cup cold milk
1 egg plus 1 egg white
1 teaspoon white vinegar

Directions

Last night, I experimented in using 1 cup of cold slices of unsalted butter and two eggs.   It actually turned out nice and it had that melt in your mouth flaky crust.

For my filling, I used fresh ground beef (less fat) sauteed in minced garlic and chopped onions with little cubes of gold yukon potatoes, carrots, fresh cooked green peas, and raisins.
