Classic Ganache

Ingredients
1 pound semi-sweet chocolate

1 cup heavy whipping cream

5 tablespoons salted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions
Put 3/4 of the semi-sweet chocolate on a medium bowl and microwave for a total of 1 1/2 minutes or more, microwaving for 1 minute first then bring out of the microwave and stir chocolate well.  Put back in the microwave for 30 seconds stir again to mix chocolate. Add the 1/4 remaining chocolate and stir and blend well until there are no more lumps. This is tempering the chocolate. 

 *Keep in the refrigerator to harden for 1 hour.
